A Little

About Ruchika

Ruchika has always had a love and appreciation for the natural world. This passion and drive brought her to exploring the Himalayas. For the last 6 years, she has been spending 2-3 months annually, trekking and backpacking in the Himalaya.

She turned to coaching because she found it allows her to make a valuable contribution to the process of helping people to experience life the way they want to experience it.

However, she does not believe in ‘fixing’ someone, in solving problems for them or assuming any position of superiority or higher knowledge. Her coaching philosophy stresses the importance of accountability, authenticity, mental toughness and self-confidence.

She acknowledges that each coachee as an expert in their life and work. She strongly believes that each person is creative, resourceful, and whole and that her responsibility as a coach is to encourage self-discovery, through a meaningful coaching conversation which helps them arrive at solutions and strategies themselves.

How Ruchika started coaching because of the passion she has for enabling people.

Throughout her career of 17 years, as a Learning and Development Professional and as an Operations Manager previously, Ruchika says she always enjoyed working with clients and colleagues to discover and create the best ways of moving forward to achieve results which work. For Ruchika, it is a wonderfully rewarding thing to do.

Her coaching assignments give her an opportunity to enable people to create change through learning and help them to “Be more, do more, achieve more and above all contribute more” by making clearer judgments about situations, learning more from experiences, making better choices and implementing more effective decisions or actions.

Coaching allows her to make a valuable contribution to the process of helping people to experience life the way they want to experience it.

What makes Ruchika stand out as a coach is her ability to establish trust with her clients, her skill at listening for potential, creating awareness through powerful questions and her ability to create measurable goals and actions.
